Armouring is to British Standards; BS 5051, European Standard; BS EN1063:2000, BS EN 1522:1999, BS EN 1523:1999 and corresponding German DIN & international standards, covering resistance to most common ballistic threat levels; from a 9mm handgun to a 7.62mm rifle to Nato standard.
Armour and ballistic materials used include steel, aluminium, Glass, GRP, and Kevlar.
